Jungfrau region of Switzerland

Interlaken, the city in Jungfrau, as its name suggests, lies between two lakes. This beautiful town is a popular base camp for travellers wishing to take part in the many activities that takes place in the surrounding areas.

To the South of Interlaken are the famous Jungfrau Mountains. Make your way up to Grindelwald and decide where to go from there. No travel magazine can prepare you for the beauty of Switzerland, it is simply breathtaking!

This region is located in the middle of three interconnected ski areas. In winter time there is also so much to do. Ski or snowboarding seems to be the most popular activity, but for the absolute first timer we highly recommend sledging.
