Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Friday Evening: Coach Check-in
Late evening check in for an overnight journey to France. We cross the English Channel on an early morning ferry to arrive in time for a beautiful sunrise in Paris.

Day 2 - Saturday: Paris - Guided Tour
After breakfast at our hotel join us for the famous Expat Explore optional walking tour. Probably one of the best Paris walking tours. We present a tour where you will not only see all the major (and minor) tourist sights, but also get down to where the locals live, wine and dine! Our sightseeing today will take us past the L'Opéra Garnier, the Tuileries Gardens, Place de la Concorde, Hotel de Ville, The River Seine, l'Ile de la Cite and the Louvre Museum. You will also get a glimpse of the most famous street in France: the Champs Elysees and the monumental Arc du Triomphe. The tour will finish at the Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter.

You have the rest of the day to enjoy Paris at your leisure. Why not visit the Eiffel Tower and if you're brave enough take a lift all the way to the top! Did you know that there is a museum and restaurant on the first floor and that the Eiffel Bar is famous for its cocktails? Or you maybe you might want to board an optional Seine River cruise and take in the sights of the beautiful city as you float past. If you fancy taking a trip to the city outskirts, you may want to visit the Versailles Palace, which is one of the finest achievements of French art in the seventeenth century.

(Breakfast)

Day 3 - Sunday: Free Day or Optional Tour
A free day to further explore Paris on your own. Or why not join us on optional walking tour (only €3) of the Montmartre area - we will explore the rich artistic history of bohemian Paris where famous painters lived and worked in this beautiful hilltop suburb with its windmills, cabarets and monuments. Follow cobblestone streets to the highest point in Paris at the white Sacre Coeur Basilica, which offers breath taking views in all directions. The tour ends at the Moulin Rouge.

If you feel like something a little less historical, head off to Disneyland...

The coach will depart from the hotel at 2100 hrs for the overnight journey back to London, arriving back at approximately 0500 hrs on Monday morning (Day 4) depending on traffic conditions.
