Day 1: London - Dover - Paris
Leave London and maybe catch a glimpse of the White Cliffs of Dover as you cross The English Channel. Upon arrival, prepare yourself for a fun filled evening in the cradle of Bohemian Paris, the Montmartre, which includes a viewing of the Sacre Coeur and exploring the nightlife surrounding the Moulin Rouge.
Day 2: Paris City Tour
Paris is one of the few cities where 2000 years of history unfolds before your eyes. See, touch and experience the mark of the French Revolution, Napoleon and WWII left on the city of romance. Our fully guided tour starts at the Louvre Museum, famous for the Mona Lisa and The Da Vinci Code. Let history unfold before your eyes as we visit historic Paris, including sites of the revolution, the Notre Dame ending it off with lunch in the Latin Quarter. After that relax with a scenic boat cruise down the Seine River and arrive in front of the Eiffel Tower before taking the lift all the way to the top. We end the day at Napoleon’s Arc du Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Paris to Avignon in Provence
We continue southwards through the Burgundy region, arriving in Avignon, a Unesco World Heritage site for its historical mid-evil town centre. After a visit to the famous Papal Palace, you can go shopping for the regions famous lavender products. Join us tonight for a fantastic French dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4: Avignon, Pond du Gard, Barcelona
This morning we start with a visit to the Pont du Gard to see the famous 2000 year old Roman aqua duct bridge. Take a quick dip in the river to cool down before continuing to Barcelona. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5: Barcelona
Your free day to enjoy the delights of Barcelona. You can visit the many famous sites, or simply wonder down the vibrant La Rambla - Barcelona's busiest street and full of street artists, food stalls, markets and many restaurants! Tonight you can experience the Spanish nightlife for yourself in one of the many night clubs. (Breakfast)
Day 6: Barcelona
Another free day to continue your sight seeing in Barcelona. Or simply relax on the beach and work on your tan! (Breakfast)
Day 7: Pamplona and San Sebastian
We enter the Basque region with a stop in Pamplona, worldwide famous for the San Fermín running of the bulls festival. Arrive in the seaside resort town of San Sebastian. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day8: San Sebastian
A free day to simply enjoy yourself on the beach or perhaps even trying some surfing! (Breakfast)
Day 9: Bilboa to Portsmouth Mini Cruise
Say goodbye to Spain and get onboard our overnight cruise style crossings - you'll enjoy exhilarating sea views and fresh air as you stroll on deck. Enjoy live entertainment, two onboard casinos, saunas and a gym. There's also a Steiners beauty salon if you want to pamper yourself. At the end of an evening enjoy a good night's sleep in your comfortable en suite cabin. (Breakfast)
Day 10: Mini Cruise to Portsmouth - London
Continue sailing and arrive in the afternoon in Portsmouth for our final transfer to London. (Own Breakfast)
