Kick off your European BLITZ tour in the Amsterdamage… 10 days of the best European cities awaits your arrival – all at this at a smashing price as you zip through incredible sights, shopping, partying… all whilst meeting new friends.

Day 1: Amsterdam - tour starts
Arrive in Amsterdam and make your way to our accommodation resort for the start of the tour at 10:00 hrs. We start in style with a bicycle tour to explore the Dutch countryside. Passing through Edam and the little fishing village of Volendam, you will really get a feel for the Dutch countryside! We end the tour with a visit to a cheese farm and clogs, where you'll experience how traditional clogs are made, and the Dutch won't let you leave before you realise there is more to cheese than cheddar. From the countryside, we make our way into the city for an afternoon walking tour of the world famous Amsterdam "Red Light District", which leaves the afternoon free to explore Anne Frank's House, Dam Square, van Gogh Museum or why not take a canal cruise. The night open to paint the town red!
(Overnight in multi-share hostel)

Day 2: Amsterdam - the Rhine Valley
There is only one way to see the Rhine Valley, and that is from the deck of a river boat! Enjoy a refreshing German beer as you cruise down the Rhine River before we head to our accommodation. Sights along the way include the most concentrated stretch of castles in Europe, vineyards, cliffs and medieval German towns. After dinner, why not take a relaxing stroll along the river and take time out to recharge.
(Overnight in multi-share hostel)

(Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3: Rhine Valley - Munich
Known worldwide for the famous the annual "Oktoberfest", Munich has so much more to offer! Munich’s city centre has been comprehensively and lovingly restored after 80% of the old town centre was destroyed by allied bombing in World War II, and what better way to experience local cuisine than at a traditional beer hall!
(Overnight in multi-share hostel)
(Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 4: Munich - Venice
We leave Germany and head down way south to Italy! Tonight's stop is one of Europe's most romantic cities, Venice. Stretching across 117 islands, you will begin your evening with a local guided walking tour, learning why Venice is such a 'must see' destination. You can see the Rialto Bridge, St Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge's Palace. Afterwards, indulge in an espresso in one of many plazas, relax in a gondola or explore and get lost within this a"mazing" city on water.
(Overnight resort bungalow)

(Breakfast)

Day 5: Venice - Tuscany
Leaving the romance of Venice behind us, we head towards the birth place of the Renaissance: Florence. Upon arrival in this beautiful city we have a local guided walking tour where you can catch a glimpse of the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria (the original location of Michelangelo's 'David' statue), Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce Basilica. After free time in Florence we head to our accommodation in Tuscany, where the day is finished with an authentic Italian meal. Buon appetito! Afterwards you can work it off by "throwing some shapes" at the local disco.
(Overnight resort bungalow)
(Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6: Tuscany - Switzerland
Today we head to Switzerland, making a photo stop en route at the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, where you can try your luck at "holding up" one of the tallest bell towers in Europe! We board the coach after a short break and take a spectacular drive into the breathe taking Swiss Alps where you will be spoilt for mystical beauty in the foot of the mountain village in the heart of the Grindelwald region.
(Overnight in multi-share hostel)
(Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7: Jungfrau, Swiss Alps
Enjoy a free day to explore and take in the spectacular local scenery. One of the 'must see' optional highlights of this tour is to travel to the 'Top of Europe' – Jungfraujoch. The views will leave you breathless (and that isn't just because of the high altitude!) This 4000m glacier has a beauty all of its own, and the combination of ice, snow, rock and epic views will stay with you for life. There is snow all year round, so you can make a snow man or have a snowball fight in the middle of summer!
(Overnight in multi-share hostel)
(Breakfast)

Day 8: Switzerland - Paris
Aufweidersehen Switzerland, Bon jour Paris! On arrival in one of the worlds' most cosmopolitan cities, Paris, we check in at our accommodation before heading off on an evening walking tour to explore the 'City of Romance, Love and Lights', a fun-filled evening taking in the Louvre, Notre Dame and many more sights before finishing off in the Latin Quarter, in time for a late dinner before you adventure in Paris' legendary night life.
(Overnight multi-share hostel)
(Breakfast)

Day 9: Paris free day
Today is free to explore on your own, head back to the Latin Quarter for lunch if you wish, or continue with sightseeing - there is so much to see! We recommend taking the scenic boat cruise down the Seine River arriving in front of the Eiffel Tower, to see the panoramic views from the top!
(Overnight multi-share hostel)
(Breakfast)

Day 10: Paris - Amsterdam
The last day of your European tour already! After breakfast, it's back to Amsterdam, stopping en route to the ancient city of Bruges where we have a short lunch stop. Bruges is famous for many things including beer and chocolates. This last part of your journey is your last chance to swap numbers and contact details with all of your new found friends and tour buddies, before you return to the Netherlands where your tour will end.
