Ice Skating in Bruges

Departing from London early morning in a luxury, comfortable coach, we will travel via the Euro-Tunnel from Folkestone to Calais and drive through to Bruges; also known as the Venice of the North!

The entire city centre of Bruges has been recognized as a world heritage site, and it is here where the city centre transforms into a platform for the Christmas Markets. At these markets you can buy anything from Christmas stuff, clothing, food and drinks. Belgium is also known for their fine and noble chocolates and Bruges is the perfect city to visit these shops where chocolate is made on the traditional way, fresh every day.

On the market square an outdoor ice-rink is built so you can enjoy ice-skating in the atmosphere of true Christmas in Europe. Afterwards enjoy tasty ghluwein to keep you warm inside, whilst it is cold outside. You can also treat yourself with the famous “Belgium waffle met slagroom” (Belgium waffle with whipped cream).

For the beer lovers, Bruges also offer 450 varieties of Beer. These can be enjoyed at local pubs such as the ‘t Brugs Beertje in Kemelstraat. You can also pay a visit to the breweries in Bruges such as: De Halve Maan (since 1856. Famous for Bruges Zot) and De Gouden Boom Brewery.
